Meeting point and time


If you’re staying on the main land (not on Anglesey), then… let’s meet at 09.15 on the day of your adventure at the Snowdonia Watersports cafe. The postcode is LL55 4EL.

There’s a large, free car park on the opposite side of the road, next to the lake.

If you’re staying on Anglesey, let’s meet at the Sea Shanty Cafe in Trearddur Bay at 9.30. The post code is LL65 2YR.

We’ll probably end the day somewhere around 16.00 if that helps with planning.

Where we’ll go

Wherever is best for the day!

Trust us to choose the things that’ll be the most fun for that day, given your team, the weather, and what you’re most excited about!

Places to stay

You’ll need;

  • A day rucksack – approximately 30 litres
  • Your lunch
  • Warm and comfy outdoor clothes / sportswear that are nice to walk in and quick to dry that you don’t mind getting wet / dirty. Cotton jumpers or jeans are best avoided
  • Swimming attire (!)
  • We’ll normally be wearing a wicking base layer, light fleece, warmer jacket, and walking trousers
  • Warm hat & gloves
  • Waterproof jacket and trousers
  • Trainers or walking boots / shoes that you don’t mind getting wet / dirty
  • A full change of clothes, spare shoes, and a towel (in case we go for a water-based activity)
  • Small personal first aid kit with any personal medication
  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • 1 litre of water
  • Camera

If you have any of the kit below and want to use it, then feel free to bring it. We may or may not use it, depending upon the things we do;

  • Climbing harness
  • Climbing helmet
  • Rock climbing shoes
  • Belay plate and karabiners
  • Wetsuit
  • Buoyancy aid
